Suares ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Daucourt moves away.
Daucourt fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Suares sprawls well initially but Daucourt persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Daucourt seems to be looking for submissions.
Daucourt passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Suares!
Daucourt has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Daucourt looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.

Daucourt is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. Suares has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Daucourt has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! Suares taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Daucourt doesn't care though - he's delighted!
