Savage is controlling Jackson's posture. Jackson looking to sit in guard and control but Savage gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Jackson avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Savage seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jackson wants to get back to his feet but Savage is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Savage preventing the sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jackson keeping full guard, as Savage tries to pass. #T1# Jackson can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Savage controls the pace.
