Macanuff rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rojas moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Rojas tries to counter with a takedown but Macanuff is quick to defend against it. Macanuff fails with a takedown attempt. It looked like Rojas was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Macanuff goes for a double leg but Rojas avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Rojas continues to drive forward. Rojas could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rojas throws a head kick that misses. Macanuff dives in and grabs Rojas's left leg, looking for a takedown. Rojas pushes down on Macanuff's head and hops out. That was a close round but I would say that Blake Rojas will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Jason Macanuff's cut. Well, the break between rounds is over. Rojas throws a quick counter head kick but Minic was just out of range. Boris Minic seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#CL# Rojas pushes Minic up against the cage in a clinch. Minic tries to land a knee to the head but Rojas blocks with his arms.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rojas keeping moving, preventing Minic from controlling successfully. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Minic drops back for a leg! Weil wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Rojas manages to pass to side control. #REVB# Weil avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Rojas. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SUB# Rojas is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Weil sees it coming and defends easily. Rojas is thwarting Weil's attempts to control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Rojas has hold of the far side arm. Rojas working the head and body with strikes. #SUB# Rojas thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Fartanov wants to get back to his feet but Rojas drags him back down. Fartanov is looking for a sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #R1# A good leg kick by Blacariwichz. Rojas moves in looking to clinch but Blacariwichz pushes him off. Blacariwichz feints the counter takedown. Rojas darts in trying to clinch and Blacariwichz makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Rojas could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Blacariwichz darts in looking for a takedown but Rojas gets double underhooks and turns Blacariwichz into the cage. Blacariwichz misses with a takedown attempt #TD# and Rojas counters with a takedown into side control. Blacariwichz tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Rojas wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Blacariwichz trying his best to control but Rojas has mounted him. Blacariwichz keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
