Anderson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Anderson displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chastain throws out the jab. Anderson misses with a head kick.

Quinones changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Chastain throws a body shot but no joy. Quinones ducks right into an uppercut from Chastain. Chastain just misses with a punch to the body.
Chastain scores with a jab to the jaw. Quinones with a poor takedown and Quinones takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Quinones has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Chastain moves into range and connects with a jab. Nice takedown defense from Chastain. No joy for Quinones on that attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Leon Quinones. That's going to take a lot out of him. #R1# Chastain stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Chastain wants it to stay on the feet. Chastain unleashes a big counter combination but Makenzie bobs and weaves and avoids any damage. Chastain scores with a three punch combo!
#CL2# Chastain pushes Makenzie up against the cage in a clinch. Makenzie looking to stall.
Chastain tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Makenzie just stands there and leans against the cage. Chastain is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Makenzie pulls him back up using the underhooks. Makenzie tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. #TD2# Chastain gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground. Makenzie is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Chastain must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Makenzie manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Chastain manages to get himself to full guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Chastain can't do much from the bottom here. #T1# Makenzie tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Makenzie is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. You can see the frustration on Chastain's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Chastain tries to buck Makenzie off but Makenzie is having none of it. Makenzie is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Chastain's shoulder. That is not cool. #T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Chastain tries to improve position but can't. Makenzie in side control, just content to control the action for now. Makenzie has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T3# This is a sustained period of stalling by Makenzie. Chastain is looking to reverse the position. The referee tells the fighters to keep busy. Chastain is looking for a sweep. A lull in the action here.#REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Makenzie moves out of range of the body kick from Chastain.
Chastain lands a jab-cross combination. Makenzie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chastain sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Makenzie somewhat. Chastain is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Makenzie with a body shot.#T4# Makenzie is trying hard to land a takedown here. Chastain sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Austin Makenzie. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD2# Chastain shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Chastain showed some decent athleticism there. Makenzie looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio. Makenzie preventing any damage for now, controlling his opponent's head. Chastain prevents Makenzie from improving his position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Makenzie is doing well to control the position and prevent Chastain from advancing to side control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Chastain tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Makenzie swivels and escapes. Chastain displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Makenzie. Austin Makenzie seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Makenzie tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chastain sees that one coming and sprawls well. No luck with that takedown attempt from Makenzie. Makenzie misses with a takedown attempt - Chastain sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Chastain has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Makenzie will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Makenzie doesn't succeed with the takedown and Chastain counters with a left to the body. Chastain shoots in looking for a takedown but Makenzie manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Chastain's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Makenzie fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chastain avoids it really well and circles away. Chastain connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Makenzie tumbling to the canvas! Chastain pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Makenzie was done - good stoppage!
