#R1# Goblin keeps the fight on the outside. Fighter throws a right hand that Goblin ducks under and follows up with a left that Goblin also avoids with ease. And Goblin tries to counter it with a takedown but Fighter pushes his down on his head and steps out. Fighter wants to clinch but Goblin slips to the side and Goblin counters with a nice low kick that buckles Fighter's knee momentarily. Goblin circles away from the clinch attempt.
Goblin is trying to counter with his kicks. Fighter misses with an uppercut. Fighter misses with a leg kick #TD2# and Goblin counters with a nice double leg into guard. Goblin slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Goblin content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Goblin looks up at the clock and then as Fighter takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Goblin smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Fighter might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Flying Goblin dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2# Fighter's corner calls for a 1-2. #TD2# and Goblin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Fighter's guard. Hammerfist, elbow! yells Goblin's corner. There ya go! There ya go! Goblin stays in close to Fighter's body and controls the position. Goblin is in close to Fighter's body, working some short punches and elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Goblin working some strikes from top position. Goblin has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Goblin not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Goblin sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Fighter's guard. #T1# Goblin looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fighter with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Goblin lands a nice short elbow. Goblin working over Fighter with some ground and pound. Fighter looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Well, if Goblin is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.

Goblin winds up and cracks Fighter with a swinging punch to the side of the head. #T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Goblin is taking a breather. Fighter says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Fighter is trying to stand up here but Goblin is controlling him well. #REF3# The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity. Fighter tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Goblin only half commits to the counter leg kick. A slow jab from Fighter misses its intended target. Goblin appeared to try and counter that last move with a leg kick. Fighter misses the body punch #TD2# and Goblin counters with a takedown into side control. Fighter is looking to get back to his feet here but Goblin is keeping cool and he's managed to take Fighter's back. Goblin throwing damaging strikes from the back! Fighter could be in trouble here!

Goblin is working the ground and pound here and the referee is taking a close look at Fighter. He must escape soon or this one will be stopped. We've been informed that Goblin has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Goblin is punishing Fighter with some ground and pound. Fighter covers up after taking a massive shot to the side of the head.

Fighter is trying to get back to his feet but Goblin has full control of the position and if anything, Fighter has just worked his way into a worse spot. Goblin biding his time, controlling Fighter. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Flying Goblin showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Flying Goblin's cut. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round! #R3# Fighter tries to bum rush Goblin with a series of wild strikes but Goblin uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Goblin follows through with a counter body kick but it doesn't land.#CL# Fighter moves into the clinch. Fighter stops a takedown attempt from Goblin.
