#CL# Robles gets in close and instigates a clinch. Robles really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#BC2# Jones breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#CL2# Jones pushes Robles up against the cage in a clinch. Robles wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.#TD2# Jones gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.#ES# Robles manages to create a bit of space in order to work his way back to his feet. Jones keeps hold of his opponent and drives him back against the cage. This has been an exciting period of action!#TD2# Jones drags the fight down to the ground.
Jones working a defensive guard but Robles manages to pass into side control anyway.
Jones is trying to improve his position. Jones wants to get back to his feet.#T1# You can see the frustration on Jones's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Robles working the strikes but Jones uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Jones tries to roll over but Robles keeps him under control. Robles throwing shots but Jones is blocking nicely. Jones wants to control but Robles is keeping busy.
The fighters are battling for position here. Jones manages to regain full guard. Nice work. #T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.#SUB2# Jones looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Jones is pulling down on Robles's head to control his posture. Jones wants to stand but Robles is controlling the position. Robles with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Jones trying to control the position.

#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.#TD2# Jones shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Robles's guard. Robles is wriggling around but Jones manages to pass to half guard.
#REVR# Robles has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Jones is working away from the top position though. Robles is striking from the bottom but he's now found himself mounted! Oh dear - not enough focus on defense there.
#T4# Jones can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Robles is looking to escape. Robles is working to get back to half guard.
Jones looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
Jones sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Robles tries to get back to half guard but can't. Jones controlling his opponent. Jones prevents Robles from getting the reversal. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Joey Jones will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. #R2##TD2# Jones feints and as Robles raises his hands in defense, Jones changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Robles trying to keep a closed guard but Jones is proving a slippery customer.
Robles keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully. Jones stopping the sweep attempt from Robles. Jones controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Jones advances position into side control! Jones grinds an elbow into Robles's temple. #ROC2# Robles is rocked!#SUB2# Jones has hold of Robles's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Robles seems comfortable defending it but Jones has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Robles is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Robles is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Jones couldn't care less - he's delighted!
