#R1##TD2# Max feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.#SUB2# Max drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Max seems to have locked his on tight now - Armstrong screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Max, as he picks up the win!

Armstrong is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Mikkasan to keep the fight standing.#BC# Armstrong escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

#TD# Armstrong ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Armstrong no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Mikkasan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mikkasan missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Mikkasan tries to free his leg and advance position but Armstrong is retaining full guard. Mikkasan is working Armstrong over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Armstrong takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Armstrong tries to pull guard but Finn won't allow it.

Kidd Finn dominated that round. The cut man is working on Jeffry Armstrong's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2##KD2# Oooooh!!! Finn has knocked Armstrong down with a huge combo! Finn steps away and waves a wobbly Armstrong back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC2# Armstrong is rocked! Armstrong shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Finn sprawls well. Finn wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Armstrong gets slowly back to his feet. Oh Armstrong is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Kidd Finn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Finn feints a kick and comes over the top with a right hand, followed by a left hook - both land, sending Armstrong crashing to the mat! This one is all over!

#R1##CL2# Holmes rushes Armstrong and presses him up against the cage.#TD# Armstrong gets control of Holmes's arms and successfully pulls guard. Armstrong will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Holmes controls from within his opponent's guard. Holmes works a leg free and moves into half guard. Holmes scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Holmes throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Holmes slips a nice elbow through Armstrong's hands, connecting with Armstrong's forehead. Holmes drops an elbow to the side of Armstrong's head. #CUT2# It looks like Jeffry Armstrong has been cut. Holmes trying to mount his opponent but Armstrong defends it. Holmes looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Armstrong with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Holmes looks to score some points with some ground and pound.#ROC2# Armstrong is rocked! Holmes lands a massive shot from half guard that has rocked Armstrong! More strikes land and this one is all over! Holmes jumps to his feet and is applauded loudly by the crowd!

Preston postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Armstrong could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Preston engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Armstrong seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now. Preston throws a big right hand that misses. Preston postures up.

He's out cold, twisted and contorted up against the cage! Wow!
