#TD2# and Asakura counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Alexei! We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.#SUB2# Asakura is trying to get an arm triangle but Alexei is defending well. Alexei is looking for a sweep. Asakura tries to score with some ground and pound. Alexei controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Alexei takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
Alexei struggling a bit here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Asakura is trying to get an arm triangle but Alexei is defending well. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# Alexei struggling a bit here. Alexei tries to bench press Asakura off him but Asakura keeps the position. Asakura cracks Alexei with a big right hand but Alexei just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Asakura is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position. Alexei gets full guard. Asakura controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Alexei wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. #T3# Asakura throws a big elbow that misses. Asakura is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Asakura stopping the sweep attempt from Alexei. Asakura content to stall in guard here. This could be trouble! No, Alexei has managed to free his arm - good work. Alexei wants to improve his position but Asakura is controlling well.

Asakura wants to stand and escape but Alexei is having none of it. Asakura looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Alexei slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. Asakura has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Alexei after a bit of a struggle. Alexei throws a head punch that misses. Alexei is pressed up against the cage. Asakura has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Alexei down to the mat. Alexei avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Maximilian Alexei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Asakura. Asakura shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Alexei defends it nicely. Alexei swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect. Alexei throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Asakura looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.#CL2# Asakura fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Alexei, pushing him back against the cage. Asakura lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Alexei. Alexei throws a punch but it's blocked by Asakura. Alexei wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.#T4# Alexei fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

#TD2# Asakura gets the takedown into side control. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#SU2# Asakura has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Alexei avoids a punch combination nicely.
#TD2# Asakura throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Alexei tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Asakura is in Alexei's guard. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.#SU2# Asakura decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Alexei, up you get! Asakura throws a leg kick but Alexei checks it. A close second round but Tyson Asakura will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round! #R3# Alexei slaps away a takedown attempt from Asakura, before circling back to the center of the mat.#CL2# Asakura instigates a clinch. Asakura's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Asakura blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Asakura has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Asakura scores with a jab. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Alexei is trying to maintain the position but Asakura is very close to passing his half guard. Alexei is not content to let Asakura control the position.#SUB2# Asakura is looking for a kimura but Alexei is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Asakura to get the leverage. Alexei is trying to get back to full guard. Ground and pound from Asakura. Asakura looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Alexei with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #T4# Asakura is trying to control the action in half guard but Alexei is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Asakura sitting and controlling from the half guard. Asakura throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Alexei is in trouble now - Asakura has advanced to mount! Asakura punishing his opponent with strikes. Maximilian Alexei has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Raate Road seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#TD2# Road shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Alexei manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Road throwing strikes but missing. In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Road working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though. Road throws a big right hand that misses. Road stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alexei swivels though and keeps the full guard. Road looking to control the position here, rather than advance. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alexei working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Road. #T1# Alexei keeping moving, preventing Road from controlling successfully. Road connects with a couple of short punches. Road is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Road throwing strikes from guard but Alexei blocks nicely. Road blocks a jab. Road scores with a jab. Alexei acknowledges it with a nod of the head. Alexei gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Road shoots in looking for a takedown but Alexei manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Road's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Alexei looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Road moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Alexei drops his hands momentarily and Road takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Road thuds his right hand into Alexei's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Alexei lands an overhand right. Alexei throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Road. Road connects with a good right hand that stumbles Alexei. Alexei circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Road throws a sloppy head kick and Alexei counters with a right hand to the body. #CL2# Road closes the distance and clinches. Road wants to control from the top but Alexei keeps moving. Road throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Alexei works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Road makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.#T1# Road throws an elbow that misses. Alexei uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Road's guard. Nice move by Alexei!#REVR# Road is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Alexei tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time. A jab from Road does it's job there. Road lands a nice looking body kick. Alexei throws a half hearted mid kick. Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:42 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Strikes). Raate Road! Raate Road decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.

#R1# Pilc is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Alexei lands with an overhand left.#KD2# Alexei drops Pilc with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pilc looks back up at him and smiles so Alexei waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC2# Pilc is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Alexei flashes Pilc a smile before throwing a beast of a right hand, straight down the pipe. Pilc's eyes follow the hand right onto his nose, taking in it's full glory... and then darkness. Pilc crumples to the floor! He's out cold! Alexei punches the air and yells at the top of his lungs - yeeeeeeeeeeah!!!! This one is all over!

#KD2# and Alexei counters with a crisp right hand that drops Oliver! Alexei lets Oliver back up to his feet, looking for a finish!#CL# Oliver moves into range and clinches up with Alexei. Oliver's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Oliver swings wildly with an uppercut but Alexei uses good head movement to avoid it. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Oliver. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A short right from Oliver. Oliver fails to land with a short punch on the inside.

#R1# Alexei misses the jab. Chase tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Chase dives in for a single leg takedown but Alexei sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Felix Chase seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Alexei digs a good hook to Chase 's body.
Chase misses with a takedown and Alexei counters with a straight right hand.#KD# Oooooh!!! Alexei has knocked Chase down with a huge combo! Alexei steps away and waves a wobbly Chase back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC# Chase is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Alexei lands an uppercut, right on the button! Chase tumbles backwards into the cage, staring vacantly into space! He's got no idea where he is, who he is or what day it is... Poor guy.

#R1##KD2# Saget lands a left and a right that send Alexei crashing to the mat, dazed. Saget thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#CUT2# It looks like Maximilian Alexei has been cut. A jab from Saget misses. Alexei takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Good exchange - Alexei coming out on top. Alexei throws a leg kick #KD2# and Saget counters with a head kick that drops Alexei to the mat! Alexei scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!#ROC2# Alexei is rocked! This has been an exciting period of action! Alexei takes a swing at Saget's ribcage but misses. Oh Alexei is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Saget rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Alexei moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Alexei seems to have got his legs back now. Alexei misses with a left hand and Saget counters with a stiff right hand. Nice uppercut lands for Saget. That snapped Alexei's head back.
Alexei feints with a jab and clips Saget right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Saget is sent crashing into the canvas and Alexei leaps in for the kill! Saget tries to get to his feet but Alexei is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Saget is in need of a savior and steps in!

#R1##TD# Johnsen shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Johnsen was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!#SUB# Johnsen tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Johnsen has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! #SUB# Johnsen thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. You can see the frustration on Alexei's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Alexei is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Johnsen is staying active. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alexei is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Johnsen asserts his dominance and retains side control. Alexei parries the strikes from Johnsen easily there. Johnsen is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Alexei to escape.

Alexei can't do much from the bottom here. #SUB# Johnsen swings around for an armbar but Alexei sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Johnsen's guard. Johnsen looking for a sweep. Alexei works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Johnsen looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Alexei is fending him off so far but Johnsen persists. Nope, Alexei circles away and we're back to standing. Johnsen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Alexei tries to avoid it but Johnsen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Alexei to the ground. Alexei escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Alexei lands with a thumping leg kick.

Alexei is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Souza, into his guard. #REVB# Alexei passes easily into side control. Nice work. Souza tries to get back to half guard but can't. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU2# Alexei stands up. Souza tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Alexei swivels and escapes. Alexei looks like he wants to counter punch here.#TD# Souza throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
