Ryan is looking to reverse the position.#SUB2# Train swings around for an armbar but Ryan sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Train's guard. Ryan has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Train is pulling down on Ryan's head to control his posture. Ryan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Train looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Ryan working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Train wants to sweep but no luck. Train keeping moving, preventing Ryan from controlling successfully. #T1# Ryan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Train is keeping the position for now. Ryan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Jake Ryan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ryan misses with a two punch combination.

Train is in close to Ryan's body, working some short punches and elbows. Ryan wants to sweep here but Train controlling him for the moment. Train throws a leg kick but Ryan moved away. Train throws a head kick that misses. We've been informed that Train has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Train throws a right hand that Ryan ducks under and follows up with a left that Ryan also avoids with ease. Ryan looks to land a combination. Train sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Ryan is defended easily by Train. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jake Ryan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Train finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Ryan shoots in for a takedown but Train shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Train tries a quick counter leg kick but Ryan is wise to it. Ryan has a takedown stuffed. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ryan shoots in looking for a takedown but Train manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Ryan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.#TD2# Train throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Train with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. #SUB2# Train is looking for a kimura but Ryan is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Train to get the leverage. #T2# The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena. Train lands with a punch from half guard. Train prevents Ryan from improving his position. Train is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Ryan! Ryan is trying to escape the mount.

Ryan is looking to improve his position but Train isn't that keen on the idea. Train is landing with some decent strikes but Ryan is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Marshall Train showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards. #R3# Ryan tries for a takedown but Train sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. A nice side step and Train releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home. Train leaves Ryan with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.#TD2# Train is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Ryan's half guard. Ryan won't allow Train to pass to mount. Ryan has a hand on Train's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Train takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! Train content just to control the position here. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ryan keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

Marshall Train has got the better of the ground game so far. Train raining down hammerfists from mount. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Train is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Ryan can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Train lands a couple of digs. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Train seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Jake Ryan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Marshall Train is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Train's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that's the end of the fight! Marshall Train comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Train has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Jaktic is now in Ryan's guard. Ryan keeping moving, preventing Jaktic from controlling successfully. Ryan is looking to sweep but instead, Jaktic has passed into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ryan is pressing down on Jaktic's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. Jaktic stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ryan swivels though and keeps the full guard. Ryan lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Ryan drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Ryan jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. That was a close round but I would say that Jake Ryan will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. #R2# Ryan stuffs the takedown. Ryan lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Ryan chopping away at his opponent's legs.

Some people will probably question the ref's decision but Ryan was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
