Tupper displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Yonic throws out the jab. A quick step to the side and Tupper tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Yonic takes one to the chin there.#TD2# Tupper gets caught flat footed, as Yonic shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Tupper is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Tupper wants to sweep but no luck. #SUB# Tupper has his foot on Yonic's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Yonic works his way back into a safe position though. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#ES# Tupper has his feet on Yonic's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work. Tupper throws a body shot but no joy. This has been an exciting period of action! Tupper stalks Yonic and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Yonic's face. Yonic staggers backwards, shaken.#TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Tupper enables Yonic to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Tupper manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Oh Tupper is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Yonic is in full mount looking to finish with strikes. He lands a big shot, followed by another and Tupper goes limp! The ref jumps in to end the fight - a big win for Yonic!

Tupper throws a leg kick that is checked#TD# so Larsson counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Larsson postures up and lands a big shot to Tupper's brow. Tupper looking for a sweep. Not yet Tupper, not yet. Larsson wants to control from the top but Tupper keeps moving. Larsson is fighting to break Tupper's control of his arms but Tupper is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Raffo seems to have recovered his senses. This has been an exciting period of action! Tupper lands a jab-cross combination. Tupper connects with a looping right hand.

Tupper avoids a low kick by using good footwork. Tupper tried to counter with a leg kick but Raffo avoided it. Tupper scores with the left hand. Raffo knows he should have avoided that one. Raffo is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Tupper. Tupper throws a nice outside leg kick. Raffo avoids the head kick by Tupper.

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ramsey Tupper. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Tupper, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. White doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Madsen tries to clinch but Tupper is having none of it. Tupper's coach down at Cozad The Island was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Tupper's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Madsen avoids a punch combination nicely.

We've been told by Fapple's head coaches at Island Hammers Fight Camp that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tupper. Tupper is trying to control the action in half guard but Fapple is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Tupper passes to full mount! #T2##SUB2# Tupper has control of Fapple's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Fapple regains control of the situation pretty easily.
