#R1# Marshal misses with a right hand enabling Lentz to counter with a crisp jab. #CUT2# It looks like KJ Marshal has been cut. Lentz avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Lentz has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Marshal is landing a low percentage of strikes. Marshal takes one to the chin there. Marshal throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lentz sees it coming and avoids it easily. Lentz throws a looping overhand right but Marshal ducks down to avoid it. Lentz connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Lentz throws a hook to the side of Marshal's head but Marshal sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Marshal is looking to counter punch. Marshal takes one to the chin there. Marshal has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Marshal there as he acknowledges the shot.#T1# Marshal throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Marshal gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lentz. Lentz swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Marshal.#ROC2# Marshal is rocked! Marshal just misses with a punch to the body.
Marshal definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Marshal throws a body shot but no joy. #R1# Marshal gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Marshal definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Fighter waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Marshal. Marshal throws a jab when Fighter was well out of range. Marshal gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Fighter. Marshal shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Fighter sprawls well. Fighter wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Marshal gets slowly back to his feet. A looping hook to the body misses from Fighter. Marshal does a little dance to reset his feet. Fighter ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Marshal moves away.#TD# Marshal shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Marshal showed some decent athleticism there. Fighter really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Marshal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Marshal drops an elbow to the side of Fighter's head. Marshal throwing shots but Fighter is blocking nicely. #T1# Marshal stops Fighter from getting back to his feet.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Fighter is bucking up trying to escape but Marshal cracks him with another couple of good strikes. Marshal cracks Fighter with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!

#R1# Rocca moves in looking to clinch but Marshal pushes him off. Marshal throws out a loose jab but Rocca uses good head movement to avoid it. Rocca misses with a straight left. Marshal swings for the body but Rocca moves out of range.
#TD2# Marshal darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Rocca is staying active underneath Marshal, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Rocca trying to control from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Marshal thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Rocca is looking for a sweep. Marshal is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rocca is working hard here to advance position.#SUB# Rocca actively working from the bottom here. Rocca is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. #T1# Marshal wants to pass the guard but Rocca is defending well. Marshal missing with the ground and pound from half guard. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Marshal connects with a nice short shot to Rocca's temple. Marshal uses his free foot to push down on Rocca's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rocca. Rocca tries to lock up and control but Marshal gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.#T2# Marshal lands a big elbow. Rocca is wriggling around trying to escape.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Rocca is trying to escape the mount.
#T3# Marshal controlling from the full mount. Marshal's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Rocca is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Marshal landing punches. Rocca wants to control but Marshal is having none of it. Marshal has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Buoy Training. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Marshal takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Marshal lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.#T4# Marshal has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Rocca's face.

Jack darts in looking for a takedown but Marshal gets double underhooks and turns Jack into the cage. Jack shoots in but Marshal avoids the takedown attempt easily. Marshal with a lazy takedown attempt #TD2# and Jack counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Jack is nestled in close to Marshal, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Marshal tries to get to full guard but Jack has control of the leg. Marshal moves into full guard.

Marshal's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Hollaway connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Marshal scrambles back to his feet. Hollaway takes a swing at Marshal's ribcage but misses. Marshal avoids the head kick by Hollaway.
Marshal is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. Hollaway swings for the body but Marshal moves out of range.

#R1# Rubson shoots in looking for a takedown. Marshal tries to sprawl out of it but Rubson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Marshal manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Marshal leaves Rubson with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. A little jabbing left from Marshal on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Marshal swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Rubson drops down looking for a counter takedown but Marshal sprawls and moves away. Rubson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Rubson misses with a takedown attempt - Marshal sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Marshal tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bechir Rubson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Rubson fails in his attempt to clinch. A jab lands there for Marshal. Rubson tries to move into range but Marshal moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
