#R1# Both fighters circling a little - Johnson finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Brandals is breathing heavily. A kick lands to the mid section there for Johnson. Brandals looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Johnson closes the distance and lands a crisp combination that knocks Brandals out cold! Brandals corner are devastated, head in hands behind our commentary position. Poor guys.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:09 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Big Daddy Johnson! Our winner, Big Daddy Johnson, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.

#R1# Brandals circles away from the clinch attempt.
Brandals is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.#CL# Grimes darts in and clinches Brandals up against the cage.#TD2# Brandals has clasped his hands together around Grimes's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. A lull in the action here. Grimes is positioning himself to get back to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Grimes is not content to let Brandals control the position. Brandals tries to move into full mount but can't pass Grimes's legs. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#T1# The referee asks Brandals politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. Brandals prefers to stall for the moment though. Grimes is looking to reverse the position. Grimes gets back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Brandals lands with a punch from half guard. Grimes is looking to improve his position.
#SU2# Brandals stands up and beckons Grimes to join him on the feet. #CL2# Brandals moves into the clinch.#BC2# Brandals escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
#T2##TD2# Brandals gets a takedown into half guard. Grimes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Brandals lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Brandals sitting and controlling from the half guard. Grimes wants to control but Brandals is keeping busy.
Grimes makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Grimes. Brandals controlling from the top position. #T3# Grimes is adopting a defensive guard. Brandals engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Grimes pulls Brandals in to control the position. Brandals is stalling in the full guard. Brandals's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.#T4# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Grimes striking off his back but it's not causing Brandals any problems. #REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Grimes tries to close the distance and clinch but Brandals swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Grimes tries to clinch but Brandals moves away #TD2# and Brandals counters with a single leg into guard. Grimes didn't expect that. #SUB# Grimes is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Grimes has a closed guard, preventing Brandals from standing up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Brandals trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Big Brandals dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. #R2# Grimes fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Brandals avoids it really well and circles away. Brandals throws out a counter right but Grimes avoids it with no problem.#TD2# Brandals closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Brandals lands in his opponent's guard. Brandals controls the pace of the fight for a moment. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Grimes isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Brandals stacks Grimes on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Brandals!#SU2# Brandals decides to take the fight back to the feet. #T1##KD2# Brandals feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Grimes sprawling to the canvas! Grimes rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Brandals finish him?!
#ROC2# Grimes is rocked!#CUT2# It looks like Hosea Grimes has been cut. Brandals lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Grimes up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Brandals from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Grimes's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
