Now he's in guard on top. #REVR# The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Briscoe trying to control but Tho is working from the bottom. Briscoe missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Tho wants to sweep here but Briscoe controlling him for the moment. Tho can't keep his opponent in guard - Briscoe advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Briscoe trying to control from half guard but Tho is working away. Briscoe is looking to stand up but he'll have to free his leg first. Instead, Tho manages to get to full guard. #T1# Tho keeping moving, preventing Briscoe from controlling successfully. Tho working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Briscoe.
