Boaler shoots for a takedown but Gilms saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Gilms swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Boaler shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Gilms counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Boaler changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Gilms tries to avoid it but Boaler manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Gilms to the ground. Gilms escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Gregory Gilms has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jonathan Boaler.#CL2#
The fight moves into the clinch position.

Boaler has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Island Sparring. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Yonic tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gilms swivels and escapes.
Yonic avoids the body shot from Gilms.
Yonic looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
A jab from Gilms misses.
A big right from Gilms misses.
We've been told by Gilms's head coaches at Buoy Training that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Yonic shoots in looking for a takedown. Gilms tries to sprawl out of it but Yonic keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Gilms manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Yonic walks into a jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Gilms darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Gilms creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Yonic's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Yonic drops to his knees and Gilms pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

Gilms has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Escobar finds it's way round the side to connect with Gilms's head.
Escobar jabbing away but nothing is landing.

Escobar fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Gilms manages to avoid it.
A counter left hand to the body from Gilms misses its target.
Gilms lands a nice shot to the body.

Gilms looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
