#R1# Russia walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Barbarian loads up on a big right hand but Russia slips the punch. Barbarian feints a jab promting Russia to slip. Barbarian then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Russia slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Russia tries to clinch there but Barbarian circles away.
Barbarian throws a big shot that misses. Barbarian misses with an uppercut. Russia saw that one coming. Russia slips under a jab. Russia tries to counter with a takedown but Barbarian is quick to defend against it. Russia definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Russia lands the left hand. Russia uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Barbarian. Russia takes one to the side of the head.
Russia looks to land a right hand but Barbarian moved out of range. It seemed like Barbarian was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Barbarian misses with a looping right. Russia wants to clinch up but Barbarian keeps it at a distance. Russia throws a hook to the side of Barbarian's head but Barbarian sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Barbarian fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Russia on the side of the head. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A jab from Barbarian finds it's way through Russia's defenses. Barbarian has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Barbarian misses with a hook. Barbarian might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable. A slow jab from Barbarian misses its intended target. Russia is looking to clinch. Russia throws a left and a right that both miss
and Barbarian counters with a straight right hand. Barbarian closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Russia! Barbarian dives in looking to finish! Russia is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!

Russia lands a left hand that snaps the head of Jermjolka backwards. Russia throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Jermjolkas head. Russia lands a hook to the side of the head.#BC2# Russia breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Jermjolka tries to clinch there but Russia circles away.
Russia thuds a left hand into Jermjolka's body. Russia lands a nice hook to Jermjolka's body. Jermjolka takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Jermjolka is breathing heavily. Russia throws a shot to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!#CL2# Russia fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Jermjolka, pushing him back against the cage. Maloney tries to circle away but Russia has him pinned against the cage.#BC# Maloney breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Good shot there by Russia.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Maloney really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Russia lands a body shot in the clinch.
Our sources have told us that Maloney has been working on his elbows in the gym. Maloney is trying to break the clinch but Russia is controlling him. Russia presses Maloney against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Maloney is breathing heavily. Maloney working hard to break the clinch. Russia lands with a short head shot on the inside. The referee calls for Russia to work.
Russia gets through Maloney's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Russia goes for a takedown attempt but Maloney pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Russia feints with a jab and clips Maloney right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Maloney is sent crashing into the canvas and Russia leaps in for the kill! Maloney tries to get to his feet but Russia is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Maloney is in need of a savior and steps in!

Russia keeps the fight on the outside. Fedja Jermjolka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Jermjolka with a lazy takedown attempt #CL2# and Russia counters into the clinch. Nicely done. Jermjolka pushes off an throws an elbow but Russia leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. A right hook to the body lands for Russia.
