Rivera drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Stephens gets the underhooks and prevents it.
#TD2# Stephens is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Rivera can't fight it off and eventually Stephens manages to take the fight to the floor. Rivera looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Stephens engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Stephens is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Stephens seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #T1# Stephens stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Rivera swivels though and keeps the full guard. Rivera wants to stand but Stephens is controlling the position. Rivera trying to keep a closed guard but Stephens is proving a slippery customer.

Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Khoramov manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Rivera takes one on the button.#CUT2# It looks like Hector Rivera has been cut.#CL2# Khoramov drives through and clinches with Rivera against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Khoramov has Rivera pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Khoramov pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Rivera tumbling to the mat - Khoramov dives into Rivera's guard.#ES# Rivera wriggles free and stands up. #T1# Namvar Khoramov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A combination from Khoramov does no damage. Rivera swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect. Rivera pushes Johnson against the cage but Johnson circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Rivera misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Johnson lands with a nice combination. Rivera backs away looking to recover. Johnson digs a good body shot into Rivera's ribs. Johnson scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice uppercut lands for Johnson. That snapped Rivera's head back.
Johnson throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. #T1# Rivera closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Donk. Johnson catches Rivera right on the button with a cross. Johnson scores with a punch to the head. Johnson lands with a cross. #ROC2# Rivera is rocked! Rivera takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
Oh Rivera is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Rivera takes a body punch but keeps moving. Rivera takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Rivera takes one to the chin there. Johnson digs a good body shot into Rivera's ribs. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Rivera takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Johnson dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Johnson is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Rivera like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Rivera from another fist facial!

Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Rivera blocks an elbow strike. Richardson Jr is looking to break free of the clinch but Rivera has double underhooks. #TD# Rivera gets a trip takedown into half guard. This has been an exciting period of action!
