#R1# No luck for Weinstein with that takedown attempt. Silva feinted with a counter takedown.#TD# Silva fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Weinstein to the ground. Silva is now in Weinstein's guard. Silva slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Silva wants to pass the guard but Weinstein is keeping the position. Weinstein can't keep his opponent in guard - Silva advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Silva seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Weinstein is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!

#R1# Simpson is looking to slow Weinstein down with leg kicks. Weinstein closes this distance looking for a takedown but Simpson circles away. Simpson is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Weinstein. Simpson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Weinstein circles away. And Weinstein tries to counter it with a takedown but Simpson pushes his down on his head and steps out. Simpson fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Weinstein stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Weinstein wants it to stay on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jed Simpson. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Simpson shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Weinstein's guard.#SUB2# Weinstein escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Simpson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Weinstein wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weinstein seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #SUB# Simpson isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Weinstein stacks Simpson on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Weinstein! It looks like Weinstein might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Simpson gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Weinstein is in the full mount, landing strikes. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Weinstein connects with a bit shot that sees Simpson covering up! More strikes from Weinstein and the referee jumps in to stop the fight! Weinstein is our winner by TKO!

Nice sprawl there from Sosa as Weinstein shoots in. Weinstein wants to clinch.#TD2# Weinstein closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Weinstein wants to control but Sosa is keeping him busy. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. You can see the frustration on Sosa's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.#T1# Weinstein tries to advance to mount but can't. Sosa is looking to reverse the position. Sosa has one of Weinstein's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage. Sosa is working to avoid the ground and pound but Weinstein connects with a decent elbow.
