#TD2# LaFlare turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and LaFlare manages to end up in side control. Barnett really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. LaFlare trying to control the action but Barnett is working from the bottom. LaFlare tries to advance position but instead Barnett slips a leg back in to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Barnett looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.#SUB2# LaFlare is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. #T1# LaFlare is thwarting Barnett's attempts to control the position. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. LaFlare lands a nice short elbow. Barnett is looking to control LaFlare's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Barnett avoid being mounted? LaFlare keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.#T2# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. LaFlare is trying to control the action in half guard but Barnett is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Barnett is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Barnett wants to control but LaFlare is keeping busy.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. LaFlare slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. #REF3# The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Barnett throws a sloppy head kick and LaFlare moves out of range easily. LaFlare fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Barnett looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.#TD2# LaFlare shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. LaFlare showed some decent athleticism there. LaFlare missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Davis LaFlare dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2##CL2# LaFlare forces Barnett back against the cage and clinches. Barnett just leaning against LaFlare, taking a breather. #TD2# LaFlare has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. LaFlare looking to control the position here, rather than advance. LaFlare working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Barnett's head.#T1# Barnett not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

LaFlare has been the more effective fighter overall so far. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. LaFlare is figuring out what he wants to do next.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Davis LaFlare seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barnett throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. Davis LaFlare showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round! #R3##CL2# LaFlare has managed to clinch.
#TD2# LaFlare is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Barnett can't fight it off and eventually LaFlare manages to take the fight to the floor. Barnett looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. LaFlare controls from within his opponent's guard. LaFlare trying to control but Barnett is working from the bottom. Barnett tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Barnett avoids the head kick by LaFlare.

LaFlare is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Barnett. LaFlare content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though. #T3# You can see the frustration on Barnett's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. LaFlare slows the pace down. Barnett wants to control but LaFlare postures up. LaFlare misses with the ground and pound. And that's the end of the fight! Davis LaFlare comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well LaFlare has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
