#R1# Jace throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Jace is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Jace looks to land a body kick but Chang moved away. Chang shoots for a double leg takedown but Jace sprawls well. He's pushed Chang's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Jace throws a sloppy head kick and Chang moves out of range easily. Jace fails to land the takedown.#CL2# Jace has Chang up against the cage in a clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chang is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.#BC2# Jace's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.#TD2# Jace closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Chang to the mat! Chang manages to get full guard. Jace won't allow Chang to sweep him here. #T1# Jace wants to pass the guard but Chang is keeping the position. Jace landing some decent shots from guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Chang is on top in guard.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Jace can do anything to dispel that myth. Chang trying to stand up but can't free himself from Jace's guard.#T2# Jace lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# Jace seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #SUB2# Jace drops back, looking for a kneebar! Chang looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Chang looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Chang! #REVR##T3# Jace tries to get back to half guard but can't. Chang working the ground and pound but Jace is defending the strikes. Jace is trying to buck Chang off.#SU# Chang stands up and we're back to a striking position. Jace shoots for a takedown but Chang saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Jace throws a lazy head kick and Chang counters with a two punch combo. Chang stuffs the takedown. Michale Chang has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Xander Jace.#CL2# Jace closes the distance and pushes Chang back into the cage.#T4# Chang is trying to pull guard but Jace turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch.#TD2# Jace turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Jace manages to end up in side control. Jace looks winded! Jace tries to move to mount but Chang blocks the move with his legs. Chang is trying to control Jace's posture but Jace avoids it. Chang is being controlled here. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Chang tries to improve position but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Xander Jace will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! #R2##CL# Chang clinches up against the cage. Chang tries to pull guard but Jace won't allow it.
Jace gets underhooks to prevent Chang's takedown attempt.
Chang tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Jace smiles and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Michale Chang. That's going to take a lot out of him. A solid leg kick lands there for Chang.

#T1##TD2# Chang gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Jace to score an easy takedown into full guard. Jace's corner is telling him to maintain position. Jace trying to move into half guard but instead Chang has managed to sweep!#REVR# Jace bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Chang's guard. #REVB# Chang tries to land a sweep but no joy. Xander Jace has got the better of the ground game so far. Jace slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# Chang is looking to stand up but Jace isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jace is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Jace is continuing to stall.#T3# Jace's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Jace stands and throws Chang's legs to the side, diving into side control. Jace controlling from side mount. #T4# The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Chang tries to improve position but can't. Chang being controlled for a moment. Jace wants to stand but Chang has his arm trapped. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Chang is trying to escape the position but Jace is controlling the position. #REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Xander Jace showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round! #R3##TD2# Jace drives through with a takedown into Chang's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Jace not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. As Jace tries to get set, Chang tries to push him back and clinch up but Jace manages to avoid the attempt.#TD2# Jace closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Chang did well to prevent Jace getting side control. Chang is looking for a sweep. Jace is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Jace in particular looking to stall. Chang won't allow Jace to pass to mount. #T2# Chang is trying to stand.

Chang knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt. #SUB2# Jace is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Chang sees it coming and defends easily. Jace is taking a breather. Chang says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.#REF3# The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet. Jace takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Jace closes this distance looking for a takedown but Chang circles away. He's got hold of a leg but Chang swivels and escapes. Jace throws a head kick that misses. Jace changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Chang tries to avoid it but Jace manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Chang to the ground. Chang escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Chang throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Chang is looking to clinch. Jace keeps the fight on the outside. Michale Chang is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Jace shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Chang defends it nicely. Chang throws a big counter combination but Jace scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.#T4# The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Jace checks a leg kick. Xander Jace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chang swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
