Coming up we have a lightweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Bartlomiej Jan (ranked 3988 p4p, 169 weight class) and Fuk Yu (ranked 24778 p4p, 0 weight class). Jan comes to the cage accompanied by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6WJFjXtHcy4. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Fuk Yu was going to win. Let's see if he was right.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the lightweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of London, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Bartlomiej Jan! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Fuk Yu! The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Paul Aken and Albert Achterberg.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Jan stuffs the takedown attempt from Yu. Yu gets slowly back to his feet. Jan looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Jan (2) vs (0) Yu Yu escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Jan gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Jan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Yu looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Jan puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Yu wants to control but Jan is keeping busy.
Jan works his foot free and advances to mount. Score +3 for passing guard: Jan (5) vs (0) Yu The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yu wants to control but Jan is having none of it. Jan takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Yu is desperately trying to improve his position but Jan has a good base and remains in mount. Jan sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Yu really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jan. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jan's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Yu is trying to escape the mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Jan takes Yu's back. Could be looking for a rear naked choke here - either way, Yu is in trouble. Score +3 for taking back: Jan (8) vs (0) Yu So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Jan manages to get his arm free though and Yu is in a world of trouble! Jan sinks in the hooks and squeezes! Yu turns purple and then goes limp. The referee steps in to end the bout!

#R1# Yu tries to bum rush Ware with a series of wild strikes but Ware uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Fuk Yu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Yu throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Ware pulls out of a head kick attempt.
#TD2# Yu shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Yu showed some decent athleticism there. Ware moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.#SU2# Ware is working an open guard so Yu takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Ware shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Ware is standing up over Yu. Yu looks to escape but Ware dives into side control.
#REVB# The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#SUB# Ware tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. #T1##SUB# Ware goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Yu rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Ware's guard! Nice work there by Yu! Ware throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ware looking to hit a scissor sweep but Yu is one step ahead there. Ware controlling the position. Yu trying to control the position from guard on top but Ware is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #T2# Yu wants to pass the guard but Ware is keeping the position. Ware looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Ware will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Yu keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Ware's head. Ware has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Yu has passed into side control.
#SU2# Yu has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. Yu throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. As Yu tries to get set, Ware tries to push him back and clinch up but Yu manages to avoid the attempt.#CL2# Yu forces Ware back against the cage and clinches.#T3# Ware fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Yu is working for takedown but Ware is calmly controlling the position for now. Yu lands with a left to the head. #TD# Ware manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Ware keeping moving, preventing Yu from controlling successfully. Yu is fighting to break Ware's control of his arms but Ware is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Yu looking to pass the guard. Ware is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Ware striking off his back but it's not causing Yu any problems. #T4# Ware manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Yu manages to get himself to full guard.

Ware is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fuk Yu dominated that round. That's time! Ware's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. #R2# Yu shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Ware as he avoids it easily. A counter left hand to the body from Ware misses its target. Fernando Ware is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Yu tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Ware paws at him with a jab and circles away. Yu shoots in and drives through. Ware sprawls well. Ware was looking to counter that last move with a shot to the body but he didn't commit.#TD# Yu gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Ware is standing up over Yu. Yu looks to escape but Ware dives into side control.

Ware works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.#T2# The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.#SU# Ware decides to stand back up. Ware steps back and let's Yu get back to his feet. Ware ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Yu moves away. Yu throws a sloppy head kick and Ware moves out of range easily. Nice takedown defense from Ware. No joy for Yu on that attempt. Fernando Ware has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fuk Yu. Yu looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Ware is fending him off so far but Yu persists. Nope, Ware circles away and we're back to standing. Yu looks to clinch and Ware counters with a straight right hand. Yu misses with a head kick.

#CL# Ware rushes Yu and presses him up against the cage.#T3##BC2# Yu breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Yu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Ware swivels and escapes.#TD# Ware looking for a takedown here - he's got it.#ES2# Yu has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Ware off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. Ware really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Yu tries to grapple but his opponent circles #TD# and Ware counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ware controlling the action here. Ware working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. #T4# Ware looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Ware has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Yu keeping control of the position. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Ware controlling the action here. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fernando Ware dominated that second round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Ware tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Yu smiles and moves away.

Yu tries to close the distance and clinch up but Ware swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ware thuds a left hand into Yu's body. Yu has his takedown stuffed and Ware counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. #CL# Ware has closed the distance and engaged Yu in a clinch.

This has been an exciting period of action! Ware keeping moving, preventing Yu from controlling successfully. Yu stands up over Ware, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. #T3# Yu trying to control the position from guard on top but Ware is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Ware has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Yu slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. #ES# Ware has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Yu off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. #T4##TD2# Yu looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Ware! Ware bucks up and tries to throw Yu off but instead Yu has got his back! Ware just looking to survive in the bad position. Ware trying to control the action but Yu just sinks the hooks in. Ware manages to reverse the position and now he's in Yu's guard. Nice work there by Ware.
And that's the end of the fight! Fernando Ware showed his dominance in that final round. Well Ware has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Possibly, maybe, no Aguiar has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Yu manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. #ES# Yu kicks Aguiar off and gets back to his feet. #R1##TD2# Yu looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Goodman! Goodman is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Yu is one step ahead and moves to full mount! Yu with a couple of short strikes. Yu has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Yu thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Goodman really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Yu trying to control but he's not successful this time. Oooooh, big shot lands for Yu! Goodman is hurt baaadly! Yu is firing away with more strikes - Goodman is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
