Qiang tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Hugbergsson is in Qiang's guard. Hugbergsson trying to control the position from guard on top but Qiang is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. #SUB# Hugbergsson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hugbergsson has a takedown stuffed. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hugbergsson on the wrong end of a nice hook. Haki Hugbergsson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.#KD2# Qiang feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Hugbergsson sprawling to the canvas! Hugbergsson rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Qiang finish him?!

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hugbergsson missing with a left hand there. Large was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Large jinks towards his opponent looking like he wants to counter with a mid kick but doesn't commit. Hugbergsson misses with a body shot.
Large throws a quick head kick that knocks Hugbergsson silly! This fight is all over! What a finish! Large is up on the cage, taking in the applause from the crowd.

#R1# The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hugbergsson ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Curtis moves away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Hugbergsson. Hugbergsson fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Curtis manages to avoid it. Hugbergsson on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Hugbergsson throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Curtis's waist but Curtis gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Hugbergsson off to one side. Hugbergsson fails with the takedown and Curtis counters with a right hand to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Haki Hugbergsson. That's going to take a lot out of him. Hugbergsson is breathing heavily.#KD2# Curtis lands a big head kick that sends Hugbergsson tumbling to the mat! Mendoza manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Hugbergsson wants to pass the guard but Mendoza is keeping the position. Hugbergsson keeps trying to improve his position. Hugbergsson pushes down on Mendoza's leg and manages to get into half guard. Hugbergsson passes the guard and advances to mount! Hugbergsson shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Qiang sprawls well. Qiang wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Hugbergsson gets slowly back to his feet. Qiang is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Horrible takedown attempt by Hugbergsson or perhaps it was just good defense by Qiang, which made it look bad. Qiang lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected. Hugbergsson misses with a hook to the body

Qiang really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hugbergsson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
