Onix is struggling to control the position. Onix gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Holden.
#BC2# Onix breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Holden misses with a low kick.#TD2# Onix looking for a takedown here - he's got it.#ES# Holden has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Onix off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds. #TD2# Onix shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Onix was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Onix remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Holden sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Holden might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.#T1# Onix controlling the action here. Onix sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Holden defending well though. Holden could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Holden is trying to get back to full guard.#SU2# Onix gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Onix ducks under a wild hook from Holden. Onix thinks about the counter body kick.#CL2# Onix pushes Holden up against the cage in a clinch.#BC# Holden breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Holden tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Onix is able to avoid easily.#T2##TD2# Onix manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Holden on his heels. He'll look to pass Holden's guard now, I'm sure. Onix is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Let's hope that Onix has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. Holden is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVR# Onix keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Onix avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Holden. Holden working over Onix with some ground and pound. Onix looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.#SUB# Holden looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

Onix moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.#TD2# Onix is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Holden's half guard. Holden tries to get to full guard but Onix has control of the leg. Onix thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Onix missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Onix thows a huge punch but Holden dodges it nicely.

Holden moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Holden looking for a sweep. Not yet Holden, not yet. #SUB# Holden working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Onix doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Holden is tightening it up a little... Onix has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Onix reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Onix taps out! Nice BJJ there by Holden!
