#R1# Chastain bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Baker has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Chastain uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Chastain works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Chastain lands a head shot. Chastain swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Chastain wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Silvain Chastain seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Chastain scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Baker throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Baker misses with a looping right. Chastain connects with the punch. A decent looking cross lands there for Chastain. Baker misses with an uppercut
and Chastain makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Chastain bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Baker's head backwards.#T1# Baker takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

Baker takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Chastain ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. Danga de danga de dang - Chastain scores with a four punch combination! Chastain lands a slapping body shot.
Baker fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Chastain manages to avoid it. Chastain scores with a sloppy right hand. Baker should have avoided that one. Chastain scores with a nice head shot. Baker doesn't seem bothered though. Chastain scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Chastain lands a glancing blow to the side of Baker's head. Baker takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Baker shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Fraga counters with a lovely straight right hand! Baker definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Baker has his takedown stuffed enabling Fraga to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Baker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Fraga scores with a jab. Baker throws a lazy right hand but Fraga sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Fraga doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Baker gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Fraga counters with a straight punch to the midsection. John Baker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. #R1# Baker fails with a takedown attempt. Jab by Harris. Harris lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Harris keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Baker looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Baker. That's going to take a lot out of him. Baker on the wrong end of a nice hook. Nice takedown defense from Harris. No joy for Baker on that attempt. #R1# Baker takes one to the chin there. A lazy left from Zwirn finds it's target. Baker takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. A decent looking cross lands there for Zwirn. Baker is looking to clinch but Zwirn is avoiding it.
Baker doesn't manage to clinch there - Zwirn circles away.
Baker tries to clinch up. Baker moves in looking to clinch but Zwirn pushes him off. Decent striking displayed by Zwirn there.
