Canada throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Cormiers head. Canada lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cormier or not. Canada lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cormier backwards. Canada blocking some punches.

Cormier seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. #R1# Canada displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Cormier. Cormier misses with an uppercut. Cormier takes a body punch but keeps moving. Cormier shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Canada defends it nicely. I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Canada has cracked Cormier with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Canada lands another huge swinging hook and Cormier tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Cormier, before Canada can land any more shots!

Canada slips under a jab from Cormier. Sloppy strikes from Cormier. Those never looked like landing. Canada steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Cormier. Cormier tries to bum rush Canada with a series of wild strikes but Canada uses good footwork to avoid the assault. A jab from Canada misses. Canada ducks under a wild hook from Cormier. Cormier closes the distance and clinches up with Canada, looking for a takedown. Cormier pushes Canada against the cage but Canada circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. A countering left hand to the body from Canada misses. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ross Cormier. That's going to take a lot out of him. Cormier shoots and misses and Canada counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cormier thinking. The fighters circling - Canada throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Canada ducks under a wild hook from Cormier.#T4##KD2# Oooooh!!! Canada has knocked Cormier down with a huge combo! Canada steps away and waves a wobbly Cormier back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC2# Cormier is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cormier doesn't succeed with the takedown and Canada counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Oh Cormier is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Cormier is breathing heavily. Canada ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Cormier's jaw. Cormier's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Canada does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
