The crowd cheers as Chastain lands an impressive looking overhand right. King doesn't seem phased though. Chastain lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
King gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Chastain. Chastain scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Chastain scores with a body shot.
King walks into a jab. Chastain definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. King waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Chastain. King on the wrong end of a nice hook. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chastain lands a jab to King's midsection. Jab by Chastain. Chastain's jab looks to have found its range, popping King under the eye.#ROC# King is rocked! A shot to the body from King misses and Chastain counters with a left to the body. King is still on wobbly legs! Can Chastain finish him? King leaves his chin hanging out and Chastain seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! King crumbles to the floor in a heap, and the referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!

#R1##TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from King enables Mills to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. King manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. King pulls Mills in close to prevent any damage. King not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
King can't keep his opponent in guard - Mills advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. #SUB# Mills looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1##SUB# Mills is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. #SUB# Mills is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and King defends it well. Mills wants to lay and pray for a moment but King keeps working. King moves into full guard.
Mills wants to control from the top but King keeps moving. #SUB# Mills drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and King dives on top into guard.#REVB##T2# King sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Mills's guard. Mills is trying to get back to full guard. King content to control rather than advance. Mills trying to hold on to King's head to control him but King postures up.
King seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Mills does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. My spies in Buoy Training inform me that King has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Mills gets back to full guard.

King is stalling in the full guard. King postures up and lands a big shot to Mills's brow. #SUB# King is posturing up here but Mills has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! King tries to roll out but it's too tight and King has to tap! Slick submission there by Mills!

#R1# King tries to close the distance and clinch but Davis swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. King walks into a straight right hand from Davis.#CUT2# It looks like Thomas King has been cut. Davis paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Davis comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Davis cracks a nice hook into King's ribs. Davis lands a straight punch to the body, keeping King at a distance.

Davis's corner calls for a 1-2. Davis obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Davis cracks King with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Davis throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent King stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. Tom Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Davis throws a one two combo.
King's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Davis connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! King scrambles back to his feet.#T1# Davis connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed King momentarily.
Davis digs a good hook to King's body.
King takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Davis fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Davis jabs King to the body, keeping him at a distance. King walks straight into a right hand from Davis - that's dropped him! Davis jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save King from any more punishment! King complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Tom Davis! Tom Davis seemed lost for words in his post fight interview but he remembered to thank his fans and directed everyone to his website.
