Gracie shoots and misses and Funke counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Big Dog Gracie. That's going to take a lot out of him.#TD# Gracie manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Funke on his heels. He'll look to pass Funke's guard now, I'm sure. He thinks about going to the ground but Champlain looks back up at him and smiles so Funke waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.
#ROC2#Champlain is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Champlain on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Funke. Funke obviously looking to wear him down.

Funke throws a predictable looking body shot
and Piano counters with a lovely straight right hand! Piano getting the better of the striking in that exchange. No luck for Funke with that takedown attempt. Funke tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Piano is able to avoid easily. Piano jabs at Funke's body. Funke finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Piano paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Piano uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Funke.
A quick step to the side and Piano tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect. Funke moves away from the strike by Piano. Piano scores with a shot to the body.

Barajas sets himself, and Funke steps forward looking for the clinch! Barajas avoids it this time. Funke displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Barajas. Funke has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Barajas is landing a low percentage of strikes. Barajas looks to score with a jab to the body but Funke is just out of range. Funke shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Barajas pinned against the cage. Barajas gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Barajas shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Funke but Funke pushes him off and we're back to square one. Funke is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Adrian Barajas. That's going to take a lot out of him.#T1# Barajas throws the kick towards the body but Funke avoids it. #T3##SUB# Barajas throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Funke escapes and throws Barajas's legs to the side, diving into side control! Funke working the body and head with strikes. Barajas is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Funke asserts his dominance and retains side control. Barajas is not content to let Funke control the position. Barajas on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Barajas tries to get out of the position. Funke connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Barajas some visible discomfort.
#T4# Funke lands a decent elbow from side control. Funke grinds an elbow into Barajas's temple. Barajas is not content to let Funke control the position. Barajas can't do much from the bottom here. Funke is chipping away with strikes.

Funke wants to control from the top but Barajas keeps moving. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Funke connects with a couple of short punches. Barajas keeping moving, preventing Funke from controlling successfully. Funke is working Barajas over from the guard. Funke landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Funke is trying to control the action in half guard but Barajas is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Funke winds up and cracks Barajas with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Oh Barajas is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!! Funke working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Barajas trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Funke manages to pass to mount!
Funke postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Barajas badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Funke around the waist but Funke pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Funke is the winner by TKO! Funke jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

#R1# No luck for Dude Guy with that takedown attempt. Dude Guy tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ashworth defends well and Dude Guy ends up having to push Ashworth into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Dude Guy gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily #TD2# and Ashworth counters with a nice double leg into half guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tourney Dude Guy. That's going to take a lot out of him. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Ashworth in particular looking to stall. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Ashworth lands a nice short elbow. Dude Guy on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound. Ashworth has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Ashworth looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Nice strikes from Ashworth there. Ashworth perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. Ashworth is nestled in close to Dude Guy, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Ashworth lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Ashworth works his way into full mount! #R1##TD# A momentary lapse in concentration from Mendoza enables Dude Guy to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Mendoza manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Dude Guy keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Mendoza's head. Dude Guy working some strikes from top position.#CUT# It looks like Hector Mendoza has been cut. Dude Guy won't allow Mendoza to sweep him here. Dude Guy content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. #ROC# Mendoza is rocked!#CUT# That has opened up Hector Mendoza's cut even more. Dude Guy postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Mendoza's head off the mat! Mendoza is out! He's out! Dude Guy jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!
