The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hjalmgeirsson throws a low kick, looking for Hoyle's leg but Hoyle calmly moves out of range. Hoyle avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Hoyle attempts a counter takedown but Hjalmgeirsson avoids it well and moves away. Hjalmgeirsson throws a body kick that misses and Hoyle counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Hjalmgeirsson! Hjalmgeirsson is trying to work for a sweep but Hoyle has mounted him! Hjalmgeirsson is wriggling around trying to escape.
Hoyle content just to control the position here. Hoyle forces the positional change into back control. Hoyle is working for a rear naked choke. Hjalmgeirsson is not defending it well and Hoyle has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Hjalmgeirsson refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Hjalmgeirsson's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!

#CUT2# It looks like Ingi Hjalmgeirsson has been cut. Hjalmgeirsson throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Hjalmgeirsson ducks right into an uppercut from Feltz. Feltz fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Hjalmgeirsson looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Feltz keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
A slapping body kick lands there for Feltz. Feltz lands a front kick. Feltz dips down and scores with a jab to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Feltz connects with a jab. Feltz lands a nice shot to the body.
Feltz lands a leg kick that knocks Hjalmgeirsson off balance momentarily. Feltz paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Hjalmgeirsson gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Hjalmgeirsson on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Feltz. Feltz obviously looking to wear him down.

It seemed like Feltz was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it. Feltz scores with a punch to the head.#ROC2# Hjalmgeirsson is rocked! Hjalmgeirsson ducks into an uppercut from Feltz and that's knocked him out cold! This one is all over!

Hoyle keeping moving, preventing Hjalmgeirsson from controlling successfully. Hjalmgeirsson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hjalmgeirsson trying to control but Hoyle is working from the bottom. Hoyle tries to land a sweep but no joy. Hjalmgeirsson must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hjalmgeirsson content to stall in guard here. #SUB# Hoyle looking for a triangle here. Hjalmgeirsson is fighting it but it looks tight! Hoyle pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Hjalmgeirsson is tapping out - this one is all over!

Hjalmgeirsson missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Hjalmgeirsson wants to lay and pray for a moment but Mills keeps working. Hjalmgeirsson trying to control the pace. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hjalmgeirsson is trying to control the action in half guard but Mills is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Hjalmgeirsson tries to pass to full mount but Mills defends it. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mills wants to control but Hjalmgeirsson is keeping busy.

You can see the frustration on Hjalmgeirsson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.#SUB# Baker working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Hjalmgeirsson is not content to let Baker control the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Baker is trying to stick to Hjalmgeirsson's back but Hjalmgeirsson is turning into Baker. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Baker's guard. My spies in Buoy Training inform me that Hjalmgeirsson has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Baker tries to land a sweep but no joy. Baker pulls Hjalmgeirsson in close to prevent any damage. We've been hearing good reports from Baker's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Hjalmgeirsson presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat. Hjalmgeirsson tries for a takedown. No joy.
Hjalmgeirsson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Da Silva after a bit of a struggle. Hjalmgeirsson fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
