#R1# Mills keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. King fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. King with a lazy takedown attempt #TD2# and Mills counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jayson King. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mills passes King's left leg - he's now in half guard. King really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#SUB2# Mills has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can King defend it? Mills steps over the head and cranks it - King is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Mills!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Roy Mills! During a confident post fight interview, Roy Mills thanked all his fans. He seemed very genuine when describing how motivated his fans keep him.

#R1##TD2# Kenta closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. King did well to prevent Kenta getting side control. King blocking the ground and pound attempt from Kenta. King trying to control from the bottom.
King on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if King tries to get out of the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kenta thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. Kenta has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Kenta is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. #SUB2# King is kicking away at Kenta from the bottom - trying to push off and stand up. Kenta grabs hold of a leg and drops back for a heel hook! The two fighters roll across the mat, with King trying to push Kenta off... King taps! He's tapped! This one is all over! A throwback to the old Pancrase there with an infrequently seen submission hold! Nice work.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Heel Hook). Hideo Kenta! Hideo Kenta decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
