Sosa takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
A nice combination there by McCarthy.
Sloppy strikes from McCarthy. Those never looked like landing.
Sosa has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Sosa doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
McCarthy lands a really nice looking cross but Sosa seems unphased.

McCarthy dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
McCarthy will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Sosa lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Sosa tries to clinch but McCarthy is having none of it.

Sosa darts in looking for a takedown but McCarthy gets double underhooks and turns Sosa into the cage.
Sosa could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
McCarthy lands with a straight right. Sosa didn't see that one coming.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Sosa. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Sosa looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that.

McCarthy wants to get back to his feet but Sosa is dominant here and he's now got McCarthy's back!
McCarthy has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Sosa is working for the choke. He's slipped one arm under the chin. McCarthy has to defend the other arm for all he's worth... but Sosa has managed to get that arm free too and he's tightening the choke! McCarthy taps out and looks absolutely disgusted with himself. Sosa doesn't care though - he's delighted!

Conor shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Conor was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Sosa tries to improve position but can't.
Sosa wants to get back to his feet.
Conor tries to advance to mount but Sosa denies him. #SUB2#
Conor is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Sosa knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sosa is pushing Conor's head away, looking to escape. Conor manages to hold on to the position though.
Conor cracks Sosa with a big right hand but Sosa just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go. #SUB2#
Conor tries for a kimura but Sosa is defending well.
Sosa might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Conor looks up at the clock and then as Sosa takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Conor smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Sosa pushes Conor away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Conor gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Conor remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. #T2#

He's trying desperately to grab hold of Conor around the waist but Conor pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Conor is the winner by TKO! Conor jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

King fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Sosa to the ground. King is now in Sosa's guard.
