#R1# Thunder waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Nantachai. Nantachai throws a hook but Thunder blocks it. Nantachai shoots in but no luck this time. Nantachai fails with the takedown. Sloppy strikes from Nantachai. Those never looked like landing. Nantachai misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Thunder.
Nantachai throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nantachai shoots in and drives through. Thunder sprawls well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Somsak Nantachai. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nice shot lands for Thunder. Nantachai with a lazy takedown attempt and Thunder counters with a right hand to the body. Thunder's jab looks to have found its range, popping Nantachai under the eye. Thunder lands with a nice body punch. Thunder misses with a double jab.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Thunder! But no joy. Nantachai misses with a head kick.

Thunder is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. The crowd cheers as Thunder lands an impressive looking overhand right. Nantachai doesn't seem phased though. Nantachai displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Thunder throws out the jab. Thunder throws a looping overhand right but Nantachai ducks down to avoid it. Nantachai's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Thunder connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nantachai scrambles back to his feet. Nantachai will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Thunder looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it. Thunder lunges at Nantachai with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Nantachai's hand. #T2# Thunder stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Nantachai moves to clinch but Thunder breaks away and Thunder counters with a straight right hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Nantachai's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Thunder connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Nantachai scrambles back to his feet. Nantachai drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Thunder jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
#KD# Nantachai lands a left and a right that send Thunder crashing to the mat, dazed. Nantachai thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#CUT# It looks like One Thunder has been cut. Nantachai jabs Thunder right on the nose. Thunder blinks but takes it well.#ROC# Thunder is rocked! Both fighters step back and shake their arms out. Nantachai engages and cracks Thunder with a massive lead left hook - Thunder tumbles to the floor, out cold! What a shot! Nantachai is delighted - all that hard work in training paid off!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:46 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Somsak Nantachai! After winning the bout, Somsak Nantachai thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
