#TD# so Schlaub counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Machida is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Schlaub dives into side control.
#REVB# Schlaub postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Schlaub in side control, throwing shots but Machida defends. Schlaub looks up at the clock and then as Machida takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Schlaub smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Schlaub cracks Machida with an elbow. That is naaassty. Schlaub landing a few strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Schlaub cracks Machida with a big right hand but Machida just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
Machida looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Schlaub working the ground and pound. Schlaub has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Schlaub in side control lands a decent elbow. Schlaub in side control, throwing shots but Machida defends. Schlaub immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Machida is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Schlaub!

#R1# Machida throws a right and a left that both miss. Machida loads up on a big right hand but Bang slips the punch. Machida does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Bang looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Machida is looking to clinch. Machida looks to land a left hand but Bang moved out of range nicely. Bang avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Machida throws a right hand that Bang ducks under and follows up with a left that Bang also avoids with ease. Machida throws an overhand right that lands on Bang's shoulder, as Bang tries to avoid the shot. #TD# Machida gets caught flat footed, as Bang shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Machida wants to stand but Bang is controlling the position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bang trying to control but Machida is working from the bottom. Bang throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Machida lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bang backs up against the cage.
#TD# Bang dives in and scores a takedown into Machida's guard. Bang is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.#T2# Bang's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Bang missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Bang throwing strikes but missing. Bang with a nice head shot there. Bang distracts Machida with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Bang trying to control the position from guard on top but Machida is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bang keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Machida's head. Machida wants to stand up but Bang is controlling him. #T3# Bang scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Machida wants to sweep but no luck. Machida working a defensive guard but Bang passes into half guard.

That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.#T4# Machida works over Bang's head and body with a nice combination. Bang swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
#TD# Bang shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Machida's guard. Bang throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Machida works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Bang working some strikes from top position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Machida can do anything to dispel that myth. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bang trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Machida working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Bang. Bang postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Machida wants to sweep here but Bang controlling him for the moment. Machida looks winded! Bang stays in close to Machida's body and controls the position. Bang scoring with punches to the head and body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Machida displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Bang. Lyoto Machida seems to be getting the better of the standup. and Machida counters with a three punch combo that has Bang backing up. Bang nods at Machida to acknowledge the strikes. Machida looks to score with a jab to the body but Bang is just out of range. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bang staying out of range there. Machida swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Bang fails to land the takedown. Machida motions for Bang to come forward. Machida throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. The fighters circling - Machida throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Machida misses with a series of wild punches.

Machida smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Bang looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Machida is fending him off so far but Bang persists. Nope, Machida circles away and we're back to standing. Machida thows a left - swing and a miss! Machida misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bang dives in for a single leg takedown but Machida sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Bang misses with a wild combination.
This has been an exciting period of action! Machida throws out a loose jab but Bang uses good head movement to avoid it. Bang closes this distance looking for a takedown but Machida circles away. Bang throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Izzy Bang is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.#T3# Machida moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body. Machida showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Bang.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Machida tries to close the distance and clinch but Bang swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. It looked like Bang was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Machida leaves Bang with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Machida throws a big shot that misses. Machida will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

Bang seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Machida does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Machida avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bang. Nice strikes from Bang there. Bang with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Machida pushes Bang off looking to stand but Bang dives back in and keeps control.
#T4# Ground and pound from Bang. Machida is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Bang scores with a couple of nice shots. Bang controlling the action here. Machida really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bang. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bang seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime. Bang takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Bang looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Bang slips a nice elbow through Machida's hands, connecting with Machida's forehead.#SU# Bang escapes and gets back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Lyoto Machida comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Machida has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Machida is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Ingle throws a head kick that misses and Machida counters with a left and a right that stings Ingle. Machida has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Machida is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Ingle. Machida swings for the body but Ingle moves out of range.

The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Machida plants his feet and throws a 3 punch combo. Miss, miss, boom! The third punch, a big right hook, connects right on the temple and drops The Ring to the mat, unconscious! This fight is all over! The Ring just couldn't keep out of the way of the whole flurry of punches!
