and Williams connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. De Ruyter throws a sloppy head kick and Williams counters with a stiff right hand. De Ruyter lands a front kick. De Ruyter misses with a head kick.
Williams flicks out a counter leg kick but De Ruyter steps away. De Ruyter lands an overhand right. De Ruyter cracks Williams with an open hand slap. De Ruyter looks to land a right hand but Williams moved out of range. Williams feints a counter leg kick. A head kick misses from De Ruyter. A little jabbing left from Williams on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. A head kick by De Ruyter misses #KD2# and Williams counters with a crisp right hand that drops De Ruyter! #R1# Williams takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Jab, jab by Jovanovic - just one landing. Williams blocks a jab. A little jabbing left from Williams on the counter but it doesn't find it's target. Jovanovic closes the distance and catches Williams with a lead hook that drops him to the canvas! Williams is clearly dazed and struggling here! 3,4,5,6,7 and Williams is up to his feet but the referee has called it off! Williams is still far too wobbly and he's not going to allow the fight to continue! Jovanovic takes it!

Williams wanted to stand there but Said had control of the position. Said trying to control the position here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams preventing the sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams wants to control from the top but Said keeps moving. #T1# Said has control of Williams's left arm, preventing Williams from doing any damage. Said tries to land a sweep but no joy. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Barboza throws a sloppy head kick and Williams moves out of range easily. Williams cracks Barboza with a good jab. Barboza slips under a jab. Barboza throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. #CL2# Williams closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Williams struggles to land a body shot inside as Barboza controls his hands.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!#KD2# Williams feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Barboza sprawling to the canvas! Barboza rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Williams finish him?!

Will he be able to recover?!! Williams lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Barboza up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Williams from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Barboza's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

Said is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Williams pulls him back up using the underhooks. Williams is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. #R1# Williams tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Williams tries to clinch up. Donaldson swats away the attempt to clinch by Williams. Williams tries to clinch but Donaldson is having none of it. Williams closes the distance looking to clinch #TD2# and Donaldson counters with a nice double leg into guard. Williams is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Donaldson dives into side control.
#REVR##SUB2# Donaldson is trying to get an arm triangle but Williams is defending well. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Williams takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
#T1# Williams is pushing Donaldson's head away, looking to escape. Donaldson manages to hold on to the position though. Donaldson is trying to ground and pound but Williams uses the momentary lack of control by Donaldson to regain half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Donaldson is working for a submission of some sort.
