Hooks thuds a left hand into Kassib's body. Kassib throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Hooks avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Kassib waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Hooks. Hooks scores with a nice strike.#CL2# Hooks instigates a clinch. Hooks avoids a wild elbow strike from Kassib. A head punch on the inside from Kassib fails to land. Kassib pushes off an throws an elbow but Hooks leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Hooks managing to block the knees to the body from Kassib.
Kassib misses with an elbow over the top. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hooks drops down looking for an ankle pick but Kassib pulls his leg out and moves away.

Kassib throws a right and a left that Hooks avoids nicely. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Hooks avoids the head kick by Kassib.

Hooks is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own. Kassib tries a head kick but it misses.

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Hooks misses with a strike but at least he's keeping busy, looking to cause some damage - that will still help him when it comes to the judges scorecards.

Kassib takes a body punch but keeps moving. The fighters circle momentarily. Hooks darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Hooks throws a sloppy head kick and Kassib moves out of range easily. Hooks lands a jab-cross combination. Hooks connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Hooks has been the more effective fighter overall so far. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU2# Gilchrist stands up and beckons Kassib to his feet. Kassib connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Kassib tries a head kick but it misses.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Kassib closes the distance looking to clinch #TD2# and Gilchrist counters with a nice double leg into guard. Gilchrist tries to free his leg and advance position but Kassib is retaining full guard. #SUB2# Gilchrist postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Kassib is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Gilchrist, into his guard. #REVR##SUB2# Gilchrist is looking to cinch up a triangle. Kassib throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Gilchrist's body to avoid the submission. Gilchrist has instead reached around Kassib's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gilchrist arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

The fight stays on the outside here - Kassib looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! A punch combination from Kassib misses. Weenus throws out a counter right but Kassib avoids it with no problem. Weenus lands a really nice looking cross but Kassib seems unphased.

They are putting on a show! Kassib throws a combination that misses and Weenus counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Kassib thinking. Kassib takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Kassib smells blood and charges in for the finish! Kassib unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Pipi sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
