Alvez is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Dirkschneider would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Dirkschneider is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Dirkschneider connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Alvez to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Dirkschneider!

#R1# Henson tries to work over Alvez's front leg with a kick but Alvez checks it. Alvez with the counter takedown but Henson avoids it easily. Henson cracks Alvez with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Henson scores with a decent looking hook. Alvez has a takedown stuffed. Alvez misses with a takedown attempt - Henson sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD2# Alvez closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Henson did well to prevent Alvez getting side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T1# Alvez prevents Henson from standing back up.

Alvez might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Henson haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Aaron Alvez has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Ignacio Henson is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. And that's the end of the fight! Ignacio Henson showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Henson, winning every round. Will the judges agree?
