#R1# Laurens just misses with a punch to the body.
Rocha throwing a counter right hand but Laurens manages to avoid it. Laurens swings away with a body shot that misses
letting Rocha counter with a right hand. Laurens throws a body shot but no joy. A little feinted left hand from Rocha on the counter but he doesn't commit to it. Laurens just misses with a punch to the body.
Laurens throws a sloppy body shot
and Laurens takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Laurens ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rocha moves away. It looked like Rocha wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Laurens throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Laurens swings and misses with a shot to the body and Rocha scores with a counter punch that sends Laurens to the canvas! Rocha smells blood - he's punishing Laurens with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Laurens has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rafael Rocha! Rafael Rocha was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

#R1# Crane misses with the body kick and Rocha connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Crane lands a head kick. Rocha smiles back at him and beckons him forward. #CL2# Crane rushes Rocha and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Crane misses with an elbow strike.
Nice elbow from Crane. Crane comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Crane lands an elbow that stopped Rocha in his tracks for a moment. Crane comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Crane lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Crane comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Nice elbow from Crane. Rocha is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Crane to keep the fight standing. We've been hearing reports that Rocha has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.#T1# Nice elbow from Crane. Crane lands an elbow inside that Rocha shrugs off. Crane lands a damaging elbow. #ROC2# Rocha is rocked! Crane lands a glancing elbow in the clinch. Crane lands an elbow inside that Rocha shrugs off. Oh Rocha is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Crane stalling the fight.
#BC2# Crane escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Steve Crane is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Rocha stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Crane.#T2# Ohhhhh! A huge head kick from Crane! Rocha is out on his feet! Crane rushes in and throws more strikes. The ref is looking closely - Rocha is covering up but the punishment is just too much and the ref steps in to stop the fight! Rocha is staring into space, just thankful that the beatdown has ended. Brutal finish.

#R1# The crowd cheers as Rocha lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lynch doesn't seem phased though.#CUT2# It looks like Chadwick Lynch has been cut. Rocha lands a jab to the head.
Lynch takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Rocha jabbing away but nothing is landing. #TD# Lynch gets a double leg takedown into Rocha's guard.#SUB2# Rocha is looking to cinch up a triangle. Lynch throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Rocha's body to avoid the submission. Rocha has instead reached around Lynch's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Rocha arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

Rafael Rocha decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
