#R1##TD2# Wright fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Kultenari to the ground. Wright is now in Kultenari's guard.#SUB2# Wright drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Kultenari dives on top into guard.#REVR# Kultenari stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wright swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wright keeping moving, preventing Kultenari from controlling successfully. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wright looking to control.
Kultenari stands and throws Wright's legs to the side, diving into side control. Kultenari trying to control the position but Wright is working away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Wright managing to avoid any damage from the strikes thrown by Kultenari.
Wright is not content to let Kultenari control the position. #T1##SUB# Kultenari tries for a kimura but Wright is defending well. Kultenari is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. Wright defending against the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Kultenari working the strikes but Wright uses the opportunity to regain half guard. Wright is trying to get back to full guard. Wright wants to control but Kultenari is keeping busy.

If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Kultenari controlling the pace. Kultenari is trying to defend but Wright finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Wright thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas. A close round but Nick Wright will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! #R2##TD2# Wright closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Kultenari wants to get back to full guard. Wright has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Kultenari is trying to control but can't.
Wright working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. #SUB2# Wright has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kultenari defend it? Wright steps over the head and cranks it - Kultenari is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Wright!

#R1# Kultenari walks into a left hand. #CUT# It looks like Hujapalapa Kultenari has been cut. Kultenari looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Gold scores with a jab to the body.#KD# Gold cracks Kultenari with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Kultenari looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Gold finish him?
Gold throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Kultenari tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kultenari slips a jab and a cross from Gold.
#KD# Gold sends Kultenari crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Gold is motioning to the referee to let Kultenari up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC# Kultenari is rocked! Gold fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks Kultenari square on the jaw! Damn, Kultenari is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!

#R1##TD# Huard changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Kultenari looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Huard wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kultenari keeps working. Sloppy strikes there by Huard. Huard sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Kultenari is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Huard slows the pace down. Kultenari manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. #SUB2# Kultenari looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Kultenari wants to get back to full guard. Huard controlling the pace. Huard will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Kultenari is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Huard is taking a breather. Kultenari says something to him but it's hard to make out. That was a close second round but I would say that Darnell Huard will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! And that's the end of the fight! Darnell Huard showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Huard, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
