Round Rouse seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rouse will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Barajas is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Round Rouse. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Barajas is pressed up against the cage. Rouse has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Barajas down to the mat. Barajas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Barajas sets himself, and Funke steps forward looking for the clinch! Barajas avoids it this time.
Funke displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Barajas.

Funke has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Barajas is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Barajas looks to score with a jab to the body but Funke is just out of range.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Funke winds up and cracks Barajas with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
Oh Barajas is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Funke working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Funke postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Barajas badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Funke around the waist but Funke pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Funke is the winner by TKO! Funke jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
