Rob Tanner has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Min Ion.

Ion has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Lane is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Ion.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ion can do anything to dispel that myth.

Horrible takedown attempt by Ion or perhaps it was just good defense by Lane, which made it look bad.

As Ion receives an ever increasing number of unanswered strikes the referee pulls Lane away and this one is in the books!
