Takenao looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Hill lands with a right hand. Hill stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Hill takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away. A decent looking cross lands there for Hill. Scott Hill seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hill misses the shot to the body. Hill throws a jab when Takenao was well out of range.#TD# Hill closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Takenao quickly recovers to half guard. The crowd are loving this. Takenao moves forwards but Carsara connects with a nice, crisp jab. Takenao looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Carsara lands a lovely overhand right. Takenao with a lazy takedown attempt and Carsara cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Carsara thows a left - swing and a miss! Takenao lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Carsara circles away quickly and effectively. It looked like Carsara wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Carsara loads up on a big right hand but Takenao slips the punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Carsara throws a series of punches but Takenao moves out of range. Takenao tried to score with a low kick but Carsara checks it. A jab from Takenao misses. Takenao throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.#T1# Takenao slips a straight right by Carsara. A big right from Takenao misses. Carsara leaves Takenao with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Fausto Carsara has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Kure Takenao. A low kick from Takenao is predictable there and Carsara counters with a straight right hand. Fausto Carsara is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
