Ma lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Moorgan jumps guard but Ma turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Ma lands a right hand that snaps the head of Moorgan backwards. Ma lands a right hand. Ma lands a right hand that snaps the head of Moorgan backwards. Ma lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Ma scores with an uppercut up the middle. This has been an exciting period of action! Moorgan tries to pull guard but Ma forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Jack Ma has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dax Moorgan. A nice right hand lands inside from Ma. A quick uppercut on the inside from Ma. #T1# Nice body punch from Ma - that landed with a thud.
Ma creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Moorgan's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Moorgan drops to his knees and Ma pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

#R1# Ma will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Jack Ma seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Ma tries to clinch up but Armstrong circles away and keeps his distance. Armstrong half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range. Armstrong keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Armstrong changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Ma darts in looking for a takedown but Armstrong gets double underhooks and turns Ma into the cage. Kevin Armstrong has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jack Ma. Ma throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Armstrong stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Armstrong defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ma. Armstrong feinted with a counter takedown. Armstrong takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Ma shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Armstrong sprawls well. Armstrong wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Ma gets slowly back to his feet. Armstrong tries to counter with a takedown but Ma is quick to defend against it.#T1# Ma shoots in for a takedown but Armstrong shows good takedown defense. Armstrong drops down looking for a counter takedown but Ma sprawls and moves away. Ma throws a series of strikes that have Armstrong backpedaling.
Ma's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Ma duly obliges. Ma tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Armstrong manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Ma thows a leg kick but Armstrong checks it #TD# and Armstrong counters with a nice double leg into guard. Armstrong passes easily into side control. Nice work.#SUB# Armstrong has hold of Ma's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Ma tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Armstrong cranks the arm and Ma screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Ma, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
