Jam engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. #SUB2# Musashi had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Jam defends it easily. Musashi thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jam slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. #SUB2# Musashi is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jam wanted to stand there but Musashi had control of the position. Jam has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.#T1##SUB2# Musashi is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Jam is aware though and is defending well. Jam postures up.
#SUB2# Musashi looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Musashi wants to sweep but no luck. #SUB2# Musashi is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Jam rolls with it to try and escape but Musashi cranks on the arm and Jam is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Joe Musashi!
