#R1# Duke pulls out of a head kick attempt.
#TD2# Jiostar scores with a takedown into Duke's guard. Jiostar lands a couple of decent looking shots.#SUB# Duke has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Jiostar can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. #SUB# Duke is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Jiostar defends well. Jiostar landing with the ground and pound. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Jiostar trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Jiostar must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Duke avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. #T1# Duke throws a couple of weedy looking strikes off his back.
Jiostar is working Duke over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Jiostar lands a couple of decent looking shots. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jiostar gets to his feet and stands over Duke, holding his ankles. He dives in with a big left hand that connects! Duke felt that one! Jiostar unloads more punches and elbows and this one is over! The ref has dived in to save Duke from any more punishment!
