Vela throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Adesanya's waist but Adesanya gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Vela off to one side.
Vela has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Izmaylov leaves Vela with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.

and Izmaylov counters with a huge head kick that drops Vela! The ref dives in to stop the fight and the crowd goes wild!
