A jab and a right hook connect and Alvis Iii buckles badly as his eyes roll back. The referee steps in and saves Alvis Iii!! Alvis Iii is complaining but he was clearly out on his feet. Nadzrhimlienkovz throws his mouthpiece into the crowd. Mmmm spit-tastic.

Ungau wants to clinch but Alvis Iii slips to the side#TD2# and Alvis Iii counters with a shoot takedown. Ungau fights it but they end up in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ungau can't keep his opponent in guard - Alvis Iii advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Alvis Iii drops an elbow to the side of Ungau's head. Alvis Iii passes the guard and advances to mount! Alvis Iii raining down hammerfists from mount. Ungau is breathing heavily.#SUB2# Alvis Iii has isolated one of Ungau's arms. Ungau looking to fight him off but Alvis Iii twists into an armbar. Makhacevov is keen to just control but Alvis Iii is a slippery customer. Alvis Iii controlling the position for now. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Makhacevov looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Alvis Iii is looking to control Makhacevov's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Alvis Iii avoid being mounted? Alvis Iii won't allow Makhacevov to pass to mount. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Alvis Iii is concentrating on defense, preventing Makhacevov from advancing position. Makhacevov is trying to control. #ES2# Davids manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage. Davids goes for a takedown attempt but Alvis Iii pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

#REVR# We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Alvis Iii is trying to control Dunne's posture but Dunne avoids it. Dunne tries to get to his feet but Alvis Iii is in the middle of advancing position himself and ends up with Dunne in his guard. Alvis Iii can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Dunne controls the pace.#T1##SUB# Alvis Iii looking for submissions from the bottom here.
