Case has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Mentor Gym in the buildup to the fight.
Case takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
A telegraphed right hand from Grapple misses the target.

Waller swings for the body but Grapple moves out of range.
Grapple shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Waller as he avoids it easily.

A counter left hand to the body from Waller misses its target.

Waller lands a really nice looking cross but Grapple seems unphased.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Can enables Grapple to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Can manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Can trying to keep a closed guard but Grapple is proving a slippery customer.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Grapple working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.#ES#

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Grapple has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Aldo lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.

Aldo stuffs the takedown attempt from Grapple. Grapple gets slowly back to his feet.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Snapple Grapple. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A jab from Grapple finds it's way through Aldo's defenses.

Pikku Koira decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
