Madness throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Hradek. Nice cross by Madness. Madness stuffs the takedown. Madness throws a nice looking combination but Hradek bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Madness dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Madness throws a series of punches but Hradek avoids them all with ease. Rand Madness seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Madness scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Madness throws a right and a left that Hradek avoids nicely. Hradek tries to counter by clinching up but Madness breaks away and moves out of range.#TD# Hradek fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Madness sprawls well initially but Hradek persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Madness is staying active underneath Hradek, who seems content to just control the action from this position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Hradek throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man. Hradek looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. #SUB# Hradek is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Madness defends it well. #T1# Hradek stops Madness from getting back to his feet.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Madness is looking to get back to is feet but Hradek passes into side control.
Madness felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. A jab from Dirk misses. Dirk throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Madness is looking to counter punch. Madness misses with the combination.
Tom Dirk seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Madness slips a straight right by Dirk. Madness throws a right and a left that both miss. Madness takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Madness throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Dirk lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Luger is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Madness has momentary wrist control but Luger slips an elbow through the middle. Gravity is struggling to control the position. Gravity gets a warning from the ref for wasting time.#TD2# Madness gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Gravity regains guard.
Gravity on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Gravity tries to get out of the position. Gravity manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Madness manages to get himself to full guard.
