#R1# Falwell throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Mullen feinted with a counter takedown. Falwell looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!#TD# Mullen closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Mullen lands in his opponent's guard. Mullen controlling from the top position. #SU# Mullen stands up and waves to Falwell to follow him. Falwell throws a sloppy head kick and Mullen moves out of range easily. Falwell throws a sloppy head kick #TD# and Mullen counters with a takedown into side control. #SUB# Mullen is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Falwell has escaped the position, nice work there. Mullen is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Falwell's shoulder. That is not cool. Mullen scores with a couple of short elbows. Mullen has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Mullen lands a few punches from side control.#ROC# Falwell is rocked!#SU# Mullen stands up and beckons Falwell to his feet. Falwell is still on wobbly legs! Can Mullen finish him? The fighters circle, before Mullen throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Falwell's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Mullen lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Kick & Punches). Blair Mullen! Yahweh Falwell spoke after the fight, saying 'Hasa diga eebowai. I guess I didn't pray hard enough, or maybe prayed too much. I bet if I trained more instead praying, I might have avoided getting KO'd. I guess it's God's will. But to quote George Carlin: "If it's God's will and he's going to do what he wants to anyway, why'.
