Rubson is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Rubson keeping moving, preventing Gracie from controlling successfully. Gracie forces his way into half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. #CUT# It looks like Rashid Rubson has been cut. Rubson on the wrong end of a nice jab. Rubson uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Bean.
Bean stuffs the takedown. It looked like Bean wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Nice sprawl there from Bean as Rubson shoots in. Rubson moves forwards but Bean connects with a nice, crisp jab. Bean lands with a straight right. Rubson didn't see that one coming. Bean scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Rubson doesn't seem bothered though. Bean fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.#CL2# Bean gets tackled into the cage by Rubson. Rubson maintains the clinch.
