Nakamoto raises up his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick. Musashi fails with a takedown attempt. No luck for Musashi with that takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Musashi. That's going to take a lot out of him. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Musashi is defended easily by Nakamoto. Nakamoto lands a head shot. Musashi tries for a takedown but Nakamoto sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nakamoto moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Togachi Nakamoto seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nakamoto ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent. No joy there for Nelson, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

#TD# Piccio tightens his grip and picks Nakamoto up, before dumping him to the ground. Nakamoto manages to land in guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Piccio working some strikes from top position. Piccio lands a couple of elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Piccio works over Nakamoto with some ground and pound from guard. Piccio engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. #R1# A head kick misses from Nakamoto. It looked like Sitsongrit wanted to counter with a hook but didn't fully commit. Nakamoto misses with a head kick.
#TD# Sitsongrit shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Nakamoto tries to kick Sitsongrit off in order to stand up. Sitsongrit Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. #SUB# Sitsongrit is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Nakamoto looks calm but he's in trouble here. Sitsongrit gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Nakamoto is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Sitsongrit lets go of the hold and Nakamoto can pop his arm back in it's socket.

Nakamoto walks into a left hand. A jab from Henry misses. Henry missing with a left hand there. Nakamoto was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Nakamoto avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Nakamoto tries to clinch up. A looping hook to the body misses from Henry. Nakamoto does a little dance to reset his feet. Nakamoto misses with a body kick.
