The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winston misses with a hook to the body
and Abiht counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Abiht throws a looping overhand right but Winston ducks down to avoid it.
Winston tries to counter with a takedown but Abiht is quick to defend against it.
Winston scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
Winston will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Winston wants to work for an arm triangle but Abiht is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Winston tries to pass to full mount but Abiht defends it.
Abiht tries to kick Winston off but Winston keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Winston is trying to control the action in half guard but Abiht is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Abiht avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Winston.
Winston definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Winston is looking to advance position but Abiht won't allow it.
Winston has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Winston is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Abiht doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Winston.

Abiht is trying to escape back to his feet but Winston uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Winston looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything.
Winston is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Abiht has escaped the position, nice work there.
Winston in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Abiht is tapping! That's the end of the fight!

Abiht swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

Shigochiyo has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Abiht defend it? Shigochiyo steps over the head and cranks it - Abiht is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Shigochiyo!

Abiht throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kryszka misses with a wild combination.
Abiht throws a poor cross that misses
and Kryszka counters with a two punch combo.
Abiht throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Abiht slips a jab and a cross from Kryszka.
Kryszka gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Abiht.
A shot to the liver by Abiht. Beautiful body shot.
Abiht is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kryszka.
Abiht misses with a jab, cross combination.
Abiht throws the left hand but Kryszka avoids the punch easily.
Abiht cracks Kryszka with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Kryszka tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Abiht pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Kryszka is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Otto Fon Abiht!

Stevenson swinging wildly here.
Nice jab there from Abiht.
Stevenson fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Abiht on the side of the head.
Stevenson swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Abiht unleashes a big counter combination but Stevenson bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Abiht scores with a punch to the head.
Abiht connects with a nice looking jab.
Sloppy strikes from Stevenson. Those never looked like landing. #KD2#
Abiht sends Stevenson crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Abiht is motioning to the referee to let Stevenson up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!#ROC2#
Stevenson is rocked!
Stevenson has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Cozad MMA New York in the buildup to the fight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Stevenson glances at the clock... BAM! Abiht nails him with a big right hand! A momentary lapse in concentration sends Stevenson crashing to the mat! The referee steps in and this one is over! Damn, Stevenson is out of it, he thinks the ref is his opponent!
